Specialty Week 

All specialty activities are instructed and led by teachers and professionals specially contracted by CGI. In addition, there will be several CGI staff members to assist the specialty instructors with their activities and to bring the excitement of CGI to camp with daily Davening, lunch activities, and more!

Engineering Camp:

Enter into the fascinating world of robotics. In this exciting STEAM program, students will design, build and test their very own robots under the guidance of an experienced AES instructor. Projects include remote control cars, claws, cranes, crawlers, and battle bots. Educational components include gear ratios, mechanical design, electronics, and robotics engineering. No previous experience is necessary, just a desire to have fun, build, and learn. Each student will receive an award on the last day of the session, and have the opportunity to earn Energy Belts to demonstrate their learned skills! 


Sports Camp:

Learn new skills, improve on existing strengths, and challenge yourself in different team sports led by Chai Athletics! Participants will spend the start of the session working on drills and skills that can help them become a better player in different sports such as, basketball, baseball, football, and more. Campers will also learn about the difficulties of competition as they play in different mini-tournaments within the week. 

Self Defense Camp:

Learn the art of balancing, coordination and self-defense skills from the talented instructors at Kogan Self-Defense. Campers will have the opportunity to learn brand new skills while engaging in group activities and exercises that are tailored to their own level of experience. 
 
Coding Camp:
Your child will have a blast in this exciting new STEAM program. Our innovative approach to coding is sure to spark your child’s interest in computer science. The fun filled curriculum stresses critical thinking, creativity, confidence, teamwork, and problem solving skills to prepare them for the 21st century and beyond. Class topics include video game design, loops, control structure, conditional expressions, control statements, object oriented design concepts, data structures and variables, and mathematical expressions. Each student will receive an award on the last day of the session and will have the opportunity to earn belts to demonstrate their learned skills!
