T.G.I.C.G.I. Electives - Boys Form
On Wednesdays and Fridays, campers attend a club that they have chosen prior to the summer, the choices for which are listed below. Please fill in your child’s name and check off his choice for the summer. He can pick a different club for the second half of camp, or he can choose one club for the entire summer.
(A) Krav Maga:
Learn balancing, coordination and self-defense skills, by using the popular technique. Classes include specially geared exercises and games. Instructors from the Krav academy.
(B) Cartooning and Judiac Art: (If a child chooses this elective, he must go to both workshops)
Painting on Wednesdays: Create your own paintings on canvas and learn important techniques, such as choosing, mixing and applying colors, transfering sketches onto a canvas, how to achieve the right effect with your brush, and more! Instructor: Mummies and Masterpieces Staff
Cartooning on Fridays: Create magical life-like comic figures with your pens and markers as the talented and world-renowned artist David Sokoloff guides you in this entertaining art.
(C) Sculpture:
Create your very own three-dimensional works of art from clay, wire, foam, mosaics and more! Don't miss this unique and creative class! Instructor: Mummies and Masterpieces Staff.
(D) Chess skills and fun:
A master chess player will teach your child the fundamentals of the game of chess. Children compete against each other and staff members in this ancient game.
